A fun day was had by all. Some snapshots from our day out yesterday at Taronga Zoo.

Family photos with my favourite family. The weather wasn’t great but who cares when you’re at the zoo.

Sydney’s Taronga Zoo is a very cool place to hang out. Especially when there’s the added attraction of dinosaurs.

p.s. Happy Birthday Kate…

family photos at Cottage Point

Here’s a little slideshow I put together for the very proud Grandma and Grandpa.

10 month old Thomas gave me some great big smiles when we were playing at Balmoral Beach.

We all had fun on the beach, amongst the trees and just hanging out at Balmoral in Sydney. Here’s a sneak peek of the family photos from yesterday.

I had lots of fun yesterday. Some of my favourite things: my Godson, my camera, the beach and lots of happy kids to photograph. What could be better?

Beach photography at Dee Why beach.

Here’s a few of my faves.

childrens photography-14Welcome…

…to the new Imagine Photography. A new year and a new look!

I have done some thinking over the holiday period and spent some quality time contemplating what makes me happy. As a result I have decided on a new direction for my business. Or, at least, a “getting rid of” some of the old and keeping the stuff I really love to do.

So Imagine Photography will no longer photograph weddings, engagements or events. I will focus my time and attention on lifestyle (casual, candid, spontaneous) portraits of children (6 months to 16 years) and their families.

What you can expect:

  • Kid’s photography – specialist children’s photographer
  • Beach, park and outdoors locations
  • Covering all of Sydney’s northern suburbs (I LOVE shooting on any of the northern beaches)
  • Casual, candid, spontaneous, “real life” images
  • Fun and games
  • Memories to treasure for a lifetime
  • Highest quality prints and products

So if that suits you, give me a call to book a session

Child photography session at Balmoral Beach

This little man is an adventurer, an explorer and a cheeky monkey (in the nicest possible way). What a great age where everything is exciting and new and absolutely everything needs to be investigated. Looking at the world through a toddler’s eyes is an amazing experience.

“To grow up is to wonder about things; to be grown up is to slowly forget the things you wondered about as a child.”

Henning Mankell

It’s child photography sessions like this that make me jump out of bed in the morning with an “I love my job” smile on my face.

And I get to work and play on the amazing Balmoral Beach in Sydney’s north. What could there possibly be to complain about? The answer: nothing!

So here’s some from my last Sydney child photography session.

p.s. you might recognise this little one from the water sprout video. If you haven’t seen, it check it out.

I love Balmoral Beach photography!!!

Here’s a fun video from a small part of my last family photography session at Balmoral Beach. Who knew so much fun could be had with a water fountain. And much amusement for the passers-by as well.

More images to come soon from this portrait photography session.

If you’d like to book a family photo session at Balmoral Beach or anywhere else in Sydney’s North give me a call or send an email.

Another perfect Balmoral Beach day!

I am first and foremost a child photographer. I love nothing better than following kids around with my camera, playing with them, interacting with them or just leaving them alone – whatever the situation (and the child) calls for. As a child photographer, I find that kids are more relaxed and natural in a place where they can have fun. Beaches, playgrounds and parks are great. And I love Balmoral Beach for child and family photography becasuse it has all of these.

This session started off well when I saw this little beauty arrive. How hard can it be to capture great images when you have a model like this?
