Over the next few weeks I will share with you some of my favourite images from my favourite Sydney photography sessions over the past few years. These are all sessions that have made me smile and made me glad that I’m a lucky enough to be a child photographer. These are the images, the sessions, the children (and their families) that have touched me!
They will be child portraits, family photos, and my favourite – images from my child and family beach photography. These are the ones I keep coming back to, the ones that have stayed with me. They just make me feel good!

Blonde curly hair and blue eyes
Snacks, bats and family photos. All in a day’s work for a child and family photographer in Sydney.
I have lots of photos of the little man’s back as he was running away from me (and with snacks in hand and mouth). I loved every minute of it. This blonde haired, blue eyed toddler was a challenge and a joy. And I am very glad to be able to give this lovely family photos that they will always treasure.
And there were bats in the trees!

Balmoral Beach family photos make a great Christmas present
This lovely family decided that a perfect Christmas present would be family photos at Balmoral Beach in Sydney’s north. It was a lovely day and despite not REALLY wanting their photos taken, the kids still had fun. We had lots of play time in between which helped! Here’s a sneak peek from that family photography session.

A fun day was had by all. Some snapshots from our day out yesterday at Taronga Zoo.
Family photos with my favourite family. The weather wasn’t great but who cares when you’re at the zoo.
Sydney’s Taronga Zoo is a very cool place to hang out. Especially when there’s the added attraction of dinosaurs.

Here’s some of the images from a mini, impromptu photo session at Cottage Point a few days ago. He’s the most adorable child and I would have loved to take him home with me.

Welcome…
…to the new Imagine Photography. A new year and a new look!
I have done some thinking over the holiday period and spent some quality time contemplating what makes me happy. As a result I have decided on a new direction for my business. Or, at least, a “getting rid of” some of the old and keeping the stuff I really love to do.
So Imagine Photography will no longer photograph weddings, engagements or events. I will focus my time and attention on lifestyle (casual, candid, spontaneous) portraits of children (6 months to 16 years) and their families.
